Why knee pain?

Knee pain is a common complaint amongst many people attending flawless feet. Here in London, we have a very active population. Many of you are running marathons, going on the odd weekend away hiking or simply twisting your knees at football and popping your ACL. Accidents happen, and were here to help you through the rehab if needed.

Knee pain also occurs as we age, with weight gain and other systemic illnesses, arthritis can creep up on us. Podiatrists are able to assess the biomechanics to identify the abnormalities an aggravating factors.

I thought podiatry was just the foot?

Podiatry is the study of the lower limb and associated structures, which very much includes the knee. As many of you may know, the body works like a scissor jack, when one joint is affected, the whole chain can be out of balance. Podiatrists are trained to look at the body as a whole, from the foot upwards, but also from the head down.

Limping or walking differently due to pain
